Spring Cleaning for the Soul

A virtual retreat

Delight in a day of creative play, relaxation, and ritual

Are you ready to shed the winter/COVID/overwhelming world events blahs?

This retreat is an opportunity to air out your heart, mind, and spirit, and open to what is waiting to emerge.

Shall we embrace the shift?

Whether you choose to notice it or not, there really is a rhythm or seasonality to life, and frankly, things go more smoothly when you "go with the flow".

So many of us have been hibernating, yet we can feel the rhythm of life picking up. To me it feels like a rushing stream, and I'm noticing everywhere, from the birds in my backyard to people on the roads to my own energy levels.

There's a sense of movement, of planning, or anticipation, and of new things.

But if you jump into this fast-moving water blindly, you might just get swept away.

Let's get intentional

We'll be playing in the dynamic energies of the new moon and the eve of Beltane (the Celtic celebration of the peak of spring and beginning of summer) as a springboard, using creative processes, guided imagery, and ritual to explore and envision what you'd like to manifest in the coming months, discover what will help you get there, and perhaps discern what things you might want to leave behind.

It's a chance to do some inner spring cleaning, so you can move forward with clarity, purpose and balance.

By making time to do this work, by creating the space in your life to truly immerse yourself in reflection and creative process, you will discover that you:

  • Gain greater clarity about what is calling you forward

  • Deepen your ways of Knowing

  • Release what no longer serves you

  • Practice creating sacred time and space in your day-to-day life

  • Revel in the connections with your circle sisters, feeling deeply seen and witnessed

  • Get your creative juices flowing

  • Emerge refreshed in body, mind, and spirit

And because it's a virtual retreat, we'll be practicing how to weave together self-care, creativity, and rest within the container of your "regular" life. This means an additional layer of growth and awareness along with less struggle to reintegrate your shifts after the event.

Is this virtual circle calling you?

I realize it's often challenging to take time and space for yourself for a whole day, stepping away from obligations and family and other commitments to prioritize your own healing work.

I realize that it can take courage to make yourself a priority, to face your fears, and take a deep dive into what can sometimes feel like "too much".

I realize that it takes a willingness to be vulnerable in order to engage in the kind of introspective soul-searching required to create a truly meaningful life.

But the renewal that comes from time away and the grace that arises within a circle of compassionate witnesses is beyond measure.

How we'll do it

Our day will be a back and forth between sharing on Zoom (if you want), simple creative processes, ritual, and your own time for rest and replenishment.

This will NOT be a day sitting and staring at a monitor!

I've been leading virtual retreats since COVID hit, and live retreats long before that. What a surprise and delight to find that virtual events can be just as nourishing and transformative. Yes, some of the burden will be on you to create your own "retreat cocoon", but that in and of itself can be an empowering act.

In terms of what we'll do, creative process and ritual are two processes that provide simple, effective yet gentle ways to heal, shift and grow. And both are easily accessible to anyone with the willingness to let go and explore.

And let me be clear: everyone is creative! You don't need any special skills or talent, no previous experience, or to even think of yourself as "creative" to participate, benefit and enjoy this day-long retreat! If you can scribble with a marker or smear around some paint, tear paper, and use a glue stick, you're good to go.

And to make it even easier, you'll get a list of easy-to-get supplies before the retreat, and I will also be sending some supplies to you.

Leveraging the power of community

For the first time, I've created this event as a group within this online community. This will allow us to interact before the event as well as during and after. It's my hope that this will support continued sharing of your process, leading to an ongoing and deepening transformation and connection.

Please gift yourself... you will be amazed and opened and aligned with your true self should you surrender to the moments of inspired instructions.

My experience so surpassed my expectations...I was awed and led into a place of intuitive creation and expression and inner teachings. I am awed by the images that came forth and will revel in the messages for sometime.

The workshop is a beautifully woo-woo experience for reflection and intention-setting using craft work for the uncrafty.

You have a such a magical gift for not only taking us to deeper places but anticipating our needs as well. I always enjoy your guided meditations. They really bring me into me body and my third eye.

It was such a unique experience that brought me the ability/permission to reframe the bad parts of last year.

Last year was all mountain tops and valleys for me, and the thought of releasing some of that was what pulled me in. This was all new to me in a group setting and I really liked that. The fast pace of the collage work actually helped me stay out of my head.
